Why did you build this?
When I talk to folks about AI, they frequently use a movie or a TV show as a point of reference. I made a watch list to help broaden my perspective and thought others might want to do the same. Also inspired by the book You Are What You Watch.
What criteria were used for movies and TV shows on this list?
To be included on this list, a movie or TV show had to have AI as a central character or plot point, be somewhat recognizable, and be reviewed favorably.
How likely am I to get my persona?
Each title and persona has a set of tags, and we compare them to see how well they match. Instead of putting a title into just one category right away, we give it a score for each persona based on how similar the tags are, then pick the one with the highest score. Since some tags show up more often than others, some personas end up being more common, too.
